It's that time of year again! This Sunday at 2 a.m., we spring forward an hour for daylight savings time. We're excited about the extra hour of daylight, and hope you'll take advantage of it. No matter what you have planned for the weekend, you'll want to be up to speed on service changes.
Here's what's happening this weekend:
- trains aren't running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards
- trains are rerouted in Manhattan and Brooklyn
- trains aren't running between Norwood-205 St and 161 St-Yankee Stadium
- trains aren't running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av
- trains aren't running between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Crescent St

Major subway service changes
trains, Manhattan and Queens
Trains are not running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards in either direction from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of track maintenance.
- Free shuttle buses are running in two sections:
- Q93, between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av.
- Q92, overnight only between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Times Sq-42 St. During the day, take the M34-SBS bus.
- Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- trains are running between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main St.
- For service between Manhattan and Queens, take trains.
- Special weekend service is running every 20 minutes between 34 St-Herald Sq and Astoria-Ditmars Blvd from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
- 42 St Shuttle trains will run overnight.

trains, Manhattan and Brooklyn
Manhattan-bound trains are running on the line from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Wash Sq from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from High St, use the nearby York St station.
- For service to/from Fulton St, take trains.
- For service to/from Chambers St, take the train to World Trade Center, the to Park Pl, or the to Cortlandt St.
- For service to/from Canal St and Spring St, take the train.
- Reminder: trains don't run overnight.

trains, Bronx
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains are not running between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Norwood-205 St in either direction. This is because of structural maintenance work.
- trains are running between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
- For service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Blvd, take the .
- Norwood-205 St is connected by a free D90 shuttle bus to Mosholu Pkwy . Transfer between the and the at 161 St-Yankee Stadium.

Trains are not running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in either direction from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization work.
- For service to/from stations between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, use nearby stations and local bus service.
- trains are running between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.
- For direct service to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take trains.
- For direct service to/from W 8 St-NY Aquarium, take the train.

trains, Brooklyn and Queens
Trains are not running between Crescent St and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer in either direction from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday because of accessibility improvement work.
- Free J90 shuttle buses are running between Crescent St and 121 St, connecting to Jamaica-Van Wyck . Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- For service to/from Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer, take the .
- For direct service to JFK Airport, transfer to a Far Rockaway-bound train at Broadway Junction for service to Howard Beach.
- trains are running between Broad St and Crescent St.

trains, Manhattan and Bronx
Uptown trains are running on the express track from Chambers St to 34 St-Penn Station from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a downtown train.
Manhattan-bound trains are running on the express track from Gun Hill Rd to E 180 St from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Wakefield-bound train.

trains, Bronx
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound trains are running on the express track from Hunts Point Av to 3 Av-138 St, and Pelham Bay Park-bound trains are running on the express track from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park. This is because of station work.

Uptown trains are running on the express track from 125 St to 168 St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a downtown train.
Downtown trains are running on the express track from:
- 59 St-Columbus Circle
- 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal
to Canal St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance. For service to/from bypassed stations, take an uptown train.*
*Reminder: At Canal St and Spring St, only uptown service is available.
Downtown trains are running on the express track from Utica Av to Broadway Junction from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.

Long Island Rail Road service changes
City Zone
Westbound trains are not stopping at Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, and Woodside* from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of subway station work at 61 St-Woodside.
- *Port Washington Branch trains are stopping at Woodside.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, present your LIRR ticket to the station agent at the following subway stations for entry at no additional cost:
- Sutphin Blvd/Archer Av/JFK Airport
- Kew Gardens-Union Tpke
- Forest Hills-71 Av
- 61 St-Woodside

Hempstead Branch
Trains are not running between Floral Park and Hempstead in either direction from 8:15 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Monday while we replace the Cherry Valley Av bridge in Garden City.
- Buses are running between Bellerose and Hemstead, making stops at Stewart Manor, Nassau Boulevard, and Garden City.
- Buses will not stop at Country Life Press. Use Garden City instead.
- Trains are running between Grand Central and Floral Park.
- For direct train service, consider using New Hyde Park, Merillon Avenue, or Mineola stations.
- The last trains to run on Friday night are the 7:20 p.m. from Penn Station and the 7:53 p.m. from Hempstead.
- Service resumes on Monday Morning with the 2:55 a.m. from Penn Station and the 3:55 a.m. from Hempstead.
- Note: Bellerose is not an accessible station. For an accessible route, take a train to/from Floral Park for van service to/from Hempstead.
