Soon, pieces by Yayoi Kusama and Kiki Smith will be on view at Grand Central Madison as part of the MTA Arts & Design program. But you can see a diverse array of works — murals, stained glass, sculptures, photos, and more — on view now at many subway and rail stations. We may be biased, but a fun weekend activity is going gallery-hopping, except at subway stations. Major subway service changes
trains, Manhattan and Brooklyn
There's no service between 168 St and Inwood-207 St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. This is because of rail, switch, and signal replacement work.
- Free shuttle buses are running on Broadway between 168 St and Inwood-207 St, and on Fort Washington Avenue between 168 St and 190 St. Look for signs outside affected subway stations to find the closest shuttle bus stop.
- trains are running between 168 St and Far Rockaway/Lefferts Blvd.
- Consider using nearby stations between 168 St and 207 St.
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, downtown trains are running on the line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 34 St-Herald Sq, and then via the to Jay St-MetroTech. This is because of signal improvement work.
- For service to/from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal, 34 St-Penn Station, 14 St, Canal St, Chambers St, Fulton St, and High St, take the .
- For service to/from Spring St, 23 St, and 50 St, take an uptown train to the next express station and transfer to a downtown .
- Reminder: trains don't run overnight.
- World Trade Center-bound trains are running on the express track in Manhattan because of planned work during this time; see below.

There’s no Manhattan-bound service at stations between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 36 St. All trains will run on the line out of Coney Island, then resume their regular route at 36 St.

trains are not running between Times Sq-42 St and Queensboro Plaza in both directions from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of urgent track maintenance.

Trains are not running between Prospect Park and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in both directions from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- Free shuttle buses are running along two routes:
- Local, making all stops between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy.
- Express between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy, then making all stops between Kings Hwy and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

- B68 bus service is also available on Coney Island Av between Parkside Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains are running on the express track this weekend in two sections:
- From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday: Trains will run express from 3 Av-138 St to Parkchester
- From 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday: Trains will run express from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park

Bay Ridge- and Coney Island-bound trains are running on the express track in Brooklyn from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 36 St from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of preventative maintenance.

trains are running on the line between Canal St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr in both directions, making all line stops between those stations.

Jamaica Center-bound and Middle Village-bound trains are running on the express track from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday because of accessibility improvement work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
- Overnight service is extended to/from Delancey St-Essex St during this time.

Long Island Rail Road service changes
Montauk Branch
Trains are not running between Babylon and Patchogue in both directions from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Monday while we replace the River Rd grade crossing.
- Buses are running between Babylon and Patchogue.
- Trains are running in two sections:
- Between Jamaica and Babylon.
- Between Patchogue and Speonk/Montauk.
- Some buses will connect with local trains at Babylon, so you may experience up to 90 minutes of additional travel time.
- The last trains before bus service begins on Friday night are the 10:05 p.m. westbound train from Montauk and the 11:46 p.m. eastbound train from Babylon.
- The first train to run after bus service ends on Monday morning is the 1:03 a.m. eastbound train from Jamaica.
- As an alternative, consider Ronkonkoma Branch service.

Metro-North Railroad service changes
Port Jervis Line
Trains are not running between Suffern and Port Jervis in both directions from 12:45 a.m. Saturday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
- Buses are running between Ramsey-Route 17 and all stations between Sloatsburg and Port Jervis. See the full bus schedule here.
- Trains are running between Hoboken and Suffern on a modified schedule and express service isn't running.
- Riders traveling from Otisville and Salisbury Mills to Hoboken and New York should consider using the Middletown or Harriman stations instead. Local bus service will be available but does not connect with the train at Ramsey-Route 17.
- Busing begins on Saturday morning with the 12:39 a.m. from Hoboken. Train service resumes early Monday morning with the 12:39 a.m. from Hoboken.

Wassaic Line
Trains are not running between Southeast and Wassaic in both directions 24/7 through November 20, 2022 because of track maintenance.
- Buses are running between Southeast and Wassaic. Express and local buses will be available for most trains. Expect up to an additional hour of travel time. See the full bus schedule here.
