If you're traveling between Manhattan and Queens this weekend, there's a major service change to be aware of: and trains aren't running between Manhattan and Queens while we make accessibility upgrades at Queensboro Plaza. For a one-seat ride between Manhattan and Queens, take trains, or the LIRR, which will accommodate subway riders at no additional cost for service between Penn Station, Grand Central, Woodside, Mets-Willets Pt, and Flushing. This service change will repeat for several weekends in 2024, and after complete, riders will benefit from a fully ADA-accessible station at Queensboro Plaza. Learn more.

Major subway service changes
trains, all boroughs
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday,
trains are rerouted because of equipment installation work. There will be no train service in Brooklyn. For direct service between Manhattan and Brooklyn take trains, which will make most stops in Brooklyn.- trains are running between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St on the line, between E 180 St and 34 St-Penn Sation, and local between 34 St-Penn Station and South Ferry on the line.
- trains are running between Harlem-148 St and 14 St, the last stop.
- trains are running between Woodlawn and New Lots Av, replacing service in Brooklyn.
- trains are running between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St on the line, and between E 180 St and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College, replacing service in Brooklyn.
- Transfer between and trains at 149 St-Grand Concourse, or by requesting a G.O. ticket from a station employee to walk between South Ferry and Bowling Green.
- You can also transfer between and trains by taking the 42 St Shuttle , which will run overnight all weekend, between Times Sq and Grand Central.

Manhattan-bound
trains are running on the express track from Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of equipment installation work.- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Brooklyn-bound train.

From midnight Saturday to 4 a.m. Monday, accessibility upgrade work at Queensboro Plaza.
trains aren't running between 74 St-Broadway and 34 St-Hudson Yards in either direction, and trains aren't running between 39 Av and 57 St-7 Av in either direction. This is because of- For direct service between Manhattan and Queens, take trains to/from Queens Plaza, 36 St, and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av.
- LIRR will accommodate subway riders at no additional cost for service between Flushing, Mets-Willets Pt, Woodside, Grand Central, and Penn Station.
- Free shuttle buses are running along four routes:
- trains are running between Flushing-Main Sq and 74 St-Broadway.
- Between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and 39 Av
- Between 96 St on the line and Coney Island-Stillwell Av
trains are running in two sections:
trains, Bronx and Brooklyn
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday,
trains are not running between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Norwood-205 St in either direction, and downtown trains aren't stopping at 155 St. This is because of structural maintenance work.- trains are running between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
- For service to/from 155 St, take an uptown train.
- For service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Blvd, take the .
- Norwood-205 St is connected by a free D90 shuttle bus to Mosholu Pkwy . Transfer between the and the at 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
From 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday, there's no Manhattan-bound
service between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 36 St. All Manhattan-bound trains will run on the between those stations. This is because of track replacement work.- For Manhattan-bound service from these stations, take a Coney Island-bound train to 62 St/New Utrecht Av or Coney Island-Stillwell Av, then transfer.
- For service to these stations, take a Manhattan-bound train to 62 St/New Utrecht Av or 36 St, then transfer.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
From midnight to 6 a.m. Saturday, 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, and 11 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, accessibility upgrade work at Queensboro Plaza.

trains are not running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization work.
- Free B90 shuttle buses are running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av. Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- For direct service to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take trains.
- trains are running between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.
trains, Manhattan and Brooklyn
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday,
trains aren't running between Delancey St-Essex St and Broad St in either direction, and trains aren't running between Myrtle Av and Delancey St-Essex St in either direction. This is because of track replacement.- For service to/from Lower Manhattan, consider nearby stations at Canal St, Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, Fulton St, Wall St, and Bowling Green.
- trains are running between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Delancey St-Essex St.
- trains are running between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av.
trains, Manhattan
trains are not running between 8 Av and 14 St-Union Sq in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance.
- M14A/D-SBS and free L92 shuttle buses provide alternate service at 8 Av, 6 Av, and 14 St-Union Sq. Transfer between the M14/L92 and at 14 St-Union Sq.
- trains are running between 14 St-Union Sq and Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy.

Lefferts Blvd-bound
trains are not stopping at 104 St and 111 St on Sunday from 5:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is because of urgent repairs.- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
