Thousands of Cricket Fans from Around the World Expected to Attend Matches between June 3 and 12
The Ninth Edition of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup, co-hosted by the USA and West Indies, takes place at a new temporary stadium built at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow from June 3 to June 12 and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is reminding fans that public transit is the fastest and most environmentally friendly way to Eisenhower Park for the tournament.
“The LIRR is the fastest, cheapest and greenest way to the great Cricket action in every match of the ICC T20 World Cup at the stadium in Eisenhower Park,” said LIRR President Rob Free. “The LIRR is adding extra stops at Westbury Station. Spectators should use the TrainTime app to see which trains have added stops to get there quickly and safely.”
